  8. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION DESCRIBES THE FUNCTIONS OF THE FULL MUSICNET
  9. CD-ROM:

  11. The MusicNet CD-ROM is an easy, informative, and entertaining way to 
  12. shop for music from your home.  To get started, just follow the 
  13. installation instructions provided below.

  15. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  16.  
  17. Macintosh:    
  18.     Macintosh 68020 or higher
  19.     Macintosh System 7.1 or higher
  20.     4 MB of RAM or higher (8 recommended)
  21.     At least 18 MB of free hard disk space
  22.     32 bit addressing activated
  23.     Double-speed CD-ROM drive
  24.     256 color monitor
  25.  
  26. Windows:
  27.     MPC-2 (Multimedia PC level 2 standard)
  28.     486SX 25 MHz or faster    Windows 3.1 or higher
  29.     4 MB of RAM or higher (8 recommended)
  30.     At least 18 MB of free hard disk space
  31.     Double-speed CD-ROM drive

  33. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 
  34.  
  35. Macintosh:
  36. 1.    Insert the MusicNet CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
  37. 2.    Double-click on the MusicNet CD-ROM icon on your desktop 
  38.     to open the MusicNet window.
  39. 3.    Double click on the MusicNet Player Installer icon to begin 
  40.     installation.  Follow the on-screen instructions to install 
  41.     MusicNet and QuickTime.  Your computer will need to be 
  42.     restarted before using MusicNet.
  43. 4.    Double-click on the MusicNet Player icon that appears on your 
  44.     hard drive to start the CD-ROM.
  45.  
  46. Windows:
  47. 1.    Insert the MusicNet CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
  48. 2.    From Windows File Manager, run the set-up program on the 
  49.     MusicNet CD-ROM (setup.exe) to begin installation.
  50. 3.    Follow the on-screen instructions to install MusicNet and 
  51.     QuickTime for Windows.  Note MusicNet requires QuickTime to 
  52.     be installed on your local hard drive.  Your computer will 
  53.     need to be restarted before using MusicNet.
  54. 4.    Open the MusicNet window and double-click on the MusicNet 
  55.     icon to start the CD-ROM.
